Lockyer returns as one of three changes

Town boss Rob Edwards makes three changes to the side that lost out to Arsenal on Tuesday.

Captain Tom Lockyer makes his first appearances since last weekend’s trip to Brentford, replacing Gabe Osho in defence.

Marvelous Nakamba returns in the centre of midfield having overcome a knee problem, the Zimbabwean international takes Pelly Ruddock Mpanzu’s place in the centre of the pitch.

With Issa Kaboré ineligible to play against his parent club, Ryan Giles replaces him. On the bench there are returns for Mads Andersen and Sambi Lokonga after injury.

City are without top scorer Erland Haarland, with Julian Alvarez replacing the striker in attack. Rodri also returns and there are starts for Phil Foden and Jack Grealish. The reigning champions name two goalkeepers on the bench.
