The Hatters are 12 games without defeat after coming from behind to beat fourth-place Middlesbrough last week, while Rovers are three points outside the play-off places.

Rob Edwards said:

“Try and win, and we want people fit and fresh when we come out the back of the two games, so we’ll probably go about it in the same way we have done for the Middlesbrough game.

“Richie (Kyle) went to the game (Blackburn vs Burnley), I watched it on the TV, I know it was a real big derby game and what it meant. Richie said how impressed he was with the atmosphere, it was really lively, really intense and the players fed off that as well, it might be difficult for them to get as up for Luton coming as it is for Burnley, we all know what it was like for Watford coming to our place not so long ago, but we do expect an intense atmosphere and I think that's good for us as well, as it will keep us engaged and right at it as well."

The opposition:

Blackburn have spent most of the season in-and-around the play-off places but fell to defeat in their local derby against Burnley in midweek, which saw the Clarets confirm their champions status.

Rovers have stumbled in their charge to the play-offs in recent weeks, with no win in their last seven league games following their defeat to Burnley.

The top scorer for Rovers this season has been Ben Brereton Diaz, who has netted 12 times this season. The Chilian international has not scored once during Blackburn’s winless run.

Last time we met:

Luton Town finally broke their duck at home when they last faced Blackburn Rovers in September, the two-goal victory was the first win of the season at Kenilworth Road.

September Championship Player of the Month Carlton Morris opened the scoring in the second half before Reece Burke wrapped up the three points with an exquisite long-range finish.

Tickets for this fixture are now off sale, with 1,028 Hatters having pre-purchased ahead of the trip to Ewood Park!

Blackburn have agreed to allow 'Pay on the Day' sales, so supporters still wanting to travel will be able to purchase from the Away Ticket Office by cash or card.
