Match Preview | Blackburn Rovers (H)

It's a third home game in a row for the Hatters who take on Blackburn Rovers on Saturday afternoon.

An entertaining 2-2 draw with Coventry City in midweek means that Nathan Jones' side are winless in their first six home games this season.

Commenting on the opposition, the boss said:"They are a good side, a really strong side but we enjoy playing against really strong sides.

"We were actually better against Sheffield United than we were against Wigan for example. It will be a tough game, they have real good players and they're in really good form so it’ll be a tough game."

The opposition:

Blackburn recorded a 2-0 win over Watford in midweek, thanks to goals from Ryan Hedges and Dominic Hyam which propelled them back into the play-off places.

Under new boss Jon Dahl Tomasson they have won five out of their first nine league matches so far this season and will look to build on their eighth place finish last term.

Ben Brereton Diaz leads the way in the goal charts for Rovers so far this season, picking up where he left off with 22 goals to his name last time out.

Last time we met:

It was a goalless draw when the two sides met at Kenilworth Road back in January. Cameron Jerome went closest to opening the scoring, hitting the inside of the post from close range as Blackburn remained second in the Championship at the time.
