Following victories against Norwich City and Queens Park Rangers over the Christmas period, Rob Edwards and his team are searching for another three points which could take the Hatters into the play-off places.

The opposition:

Huddersfield Town have climbed off the bottom of the table with two successive league wins.

Their festive form started with a comeback away win against Preston North End and was followed by a 2-0 victory over Rotherham United in front of their home supporters.

Jordan Rhodes scored in their latest win and is the club's leading goalscorer this season with six to his name, taking his overall Huddersfield tally to 97 goals.

Manager Mark Foderingham took charge in September 2022 and will be keen to continue building on the Terriers' impressive form of late, now they are two points away from hauling themselves out of the drop-zone.

Last time we met:

Luton and Huddersfield contested a six-goal thriller at Kenilworth Road in October 2022.

The away side took the lead through an unfortunate own goal before Elijah Adebayo scored his first and second goals of the season either side of a Jordan Rhodes strike. Jordan Clark restored Town's lead before the break but Huddersfield found a way back through Ben Jackson.
