The Hatters stayed ninth in the Sky Bet Championship with a point against Sunderland at the weekend, as Nathan Jones' side go in search of a third home win of the season against the Royals.

The opposition:

Reading are currently level on points with the Hatters but find themselves two places below due to inferior goal difference.

Now in their 10th consecutive Championship campaign, the Royals have won eight games and lost eight games, with just a single draw taking them to 25 points so far.

Tom Ince has seven goal contributions this term, the highest of any Reading player this season. The former Hatter scored in the 2-1 defeat against Burnley at the weekend and has played in every league match so far this season.

Last time we met:

Harry Cornick secured Luton Town's place in the play-offs after robbing Reading goalkeeper Orjan Nyland of possession to score the decisive goal to ensure a sixth place finish in the Sky Bet Championship.

It also marked the second win against Reading last season, after beating the Royals 2-0 thanks to an own goal and a second half strike from Allan Campbell.
