Firstly, Jamaican international Amari’i Bell has been selected in the 23-man squad for the upcoming 2023 CONCACAF Gold Cup.

The tournament, set to be played in the United States and Canada, begins for the Reggae Boyz in the early hours of Sunday 25th June against the hosts USA in Chicago.

The 29-year-old defender is joined in the group stages by Trinidad and Tobago and Saint Kitts and Nevis, which the Reggae Boyz will play against in the early hours of Thursday 29th June and Monday 3rd July, respectively.

Jamaica have been placed in Group A and the top two in this group after the three games will advanced to the quarter-final stage, playing one of the top two seeded sides from Group D.

20-year-old forward Joe Taylor has been with the Welsh Under-21s for their European qualifier ahead of the tournament in 2025.

Taylor did not make the matchday squad for Cymru’s qualifier against ten-man Denmark, which finished 2-2 on Tuesday.

Former academy midfielder Ed McJannet made his first two appearances for the Irish U21s in the last week.

The 19-year-old, who left the Hatters in January to join Lecce in Italy, came off the bench for his first appearance last Friday against Ukraine in a 2-2 draw before making his first start against Kuwait U22s on Monday.

Finally, academy graduate Frankie Musonda played 90 minutes for Avram Grant’s Zambia as they confirmed their place for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations following a 3-0 win against Ivory Coast last Saturday.

The 25-year-old defender, who left the Hatters in 2020, made his first appearance in the Zambia squad last year and has earned eight caps.
