Watch | Rob previews Everton

Rob Edwards takes his side to Merseyside this weekend with the boss aiming to mastermind a first win in the Premier League this season.

The Hatters secured their first point of the campaign after a draw against Wolves last weekend and the boss is hopeful his sideā€™s improvement can continue at Goodison Park.

ā€œOf course, we want that win sooner rather than later,ā€ said Edwards on Friday. ā€œThat would stop the outside noise a bit. We believe we have had good performances but winning isnā€™t something you can guarantee ā€“ not even Manchester City can do that.

ā€œHowever, weā€™ve got to make sure we have the effort, commitment and the gampelan ā€“ things that we can control ā€“ and hope that can get us over the line.

ā€œItā€™s coming. Weā€™ve seen improvements on a weekly basis and itā€™s great to see the belief the players have in themselves.

ā€œIf you look at Club over the past 15 years, they have continued to improve themselves and we are no different ā€“ we have already learned in each of our five games, weā€™ve adapted and weā€™re certainly more competitive.

ā€œWhen youā€™re in the Premier League youā€™re going to get critiqued. Youā€™re up there to be shot at and thatā€™s no problem. Remember, we are allowed to learn. Itā€™s a new experience for a lot of us and weā€™ve had to step up very quickly but the club has had a real rapid rise. Thatā€™s been done in a good way, with a good plan.

ā€œThat was recognised when we were promoted. Now weā€™re here, weā€™re going to be judged on results.ā€
